Calprotectin Faecal Extraction Devices
Alpha Laboratories

Calprotectin Faecal Extraction Devices

Faecal calprotectin extraction device with Bühlmann CALEX cap pre-filled with buffer, for preparation of faecal samples. Designed to minimise operator contact with the sample, while optimising extraction of calprotectin, to simplify and assist the pre-analytical faecal extraction process.

Calprotectin Quantum Blue Rapid Testing
Alpha Laboratories

Calprotectin Quantum Blue Rapid Testing

A rapid, comprehensive, low-cost quantitative faecal calprotectin testing platform for fast turnaround with lower throughput and point-of-care requirements than laboratory methods.

Calprotectin Turbidimetric High Throughput Testing
Alpha Laboratories

Calprotectin Turbidimetric High Throughput Testing

Flexible immuno-turbidimetric assay for faecal calprotectin. applicable on many major clinical chemistry platforms. Allows very rapid and flexible random-access use, as well as being ideal for high throughput applications in the routine laboratory. Time to result 10 minutes; range 20–8000μg/g.

GastroPanel Quick Test NT
Biohit Healthcare

GastroPanel Quick Test NT

Rapid triage test helping select patients for gastroscopy at the point of need. Quantitative immunochromatographic test for the detection of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) and atrophic gastritis in a clinic or point-of-care setting. An evolution of the GastroPanel ELISA method of detecting and quantifying H. pylori IgG antibodies and three stomach-specific biomarkers (pepsinogen I, pepsinogen II, gastrin-17) from EDTA plasma.

IBDoc Calprotectin Home Testing
Alpha Laboratories

IBDoc Calprotectin Home Testing

Kit for quantitative evaluation of calprotectin levels by patients at home. Read using smartphone technology. The CALEX valve allows patients to process their own samples at home without the need for vortex mixing, centrifuging or pipetting. The lever at the base of the CALEX dispenses the precise amount of liquid onto the lateral flow test cassette. After 12 minutes the calprotectin assay is read using a smartphone and the data is transmitted to the clinicians via a secure encrypted web based portal. The portal allows clinicians to customise the cut off values for each patient and determine if the patient sees the actual quantitative result or a traffic light system. Assay range 30–1000µg/g; storage 2–8°C; shelf life 9 months. Test time 2–24 hours preparartion time, 12 minutes assay time.

SmarTest
Biohit Healthcare

SmarTest

A simple-to-use inflammatory bowel disease stool test that enables individuals with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis to monitor their disease activity at home. Patients can use the quantitative faecal calprotectin test at home or anywhere else with minimum preparation or disruption. This in vitro bowel inflammation test measures calprotectin using gold-conjugated anti-calprotectin antibodies in a lateral flow test in conjunction with a smartphone app which quantifies and reports the result so that patients and providers can evaluate the effectiveness of treatment controlling the disease. The app scans and analyses the faecal calprotectin test result according to the intensity of the control and test lines on the lateral flow test. The quantitative results of the test are then sent automatically to the online portal for the patient’s clinical team to monitor remotely.
